Sky News has learned that the two British military personnel killed in an RAF helicopter crash in Baghdad were members of the SAS.

Sky's foreign affairs editor Tim Marshall said: "We have from two sources that they were special forces, probably from the 22nd SAS Regiment. We should say that next of kin have been informed

"They were in the Puma helicopter and I think only on a transport job, perhaps from Baghdad to the main SAS base which is above Baghdad.
